1989 - 97 City of Big Bear Lake, California Head of the Planning Department reporting to City Manager; responsible for administration and management; supervise current, advanced, and transportation planning, zoning administration, community and economic development, redevelopment, and code enforcement tasks; staff to City Council, Planning Commission, Film Commission, Growth Management Board, Redevelopment Agency, Mountain Area Regional Transit Authority; task force member on the interagency, Bear Valley Coordinated Resources Management Plan and U.S. Forest Service Discovery Center; Housing Element of the General Plan; Section 8 Housing; developed affordable housing; Community Development Block Grants. Advanced planning projects, including a comprehensive Growth Management Program, a City-wide Geographic Information System, Americans With Disabilities Act implementation, General Plan revisions, specific plans, major studies, and capital improvement projects; casework on large-scale current planning projects.
